Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online
This course from the American Heart Association has been updated. It now reflects new science from the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is a self-paced course. It uses interactive lessons and videos to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED skills. This program is for people with little or no medical training. It helps them get a First Aid CPR AED course completion card.
CPR instruction covers high-quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask.
First Aid instruction covers many topics. These include bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, and shock. It also contains seizures, fainting, broken bones, and sprains. Additionally, it addresses burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related issues. Once you begin the course, you’ll have access to the online lessons, videos, manuals, and resources for 2 years! You can start and stop the course at your convenience, finishing it at your own pace.

To complete the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course, you need to finish three parts.
- Part 1 is the online course.
- Part 2 is a hands-on skills practice session with GoACLS at our facility.
- Part 3 is a hands-on skills test with GoACLS at our facility.
- After you complete all three parts, you will receive an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years. Skills sessions (Parts 2-3) are done at the GoACLS Queens location only. IACET authorizes the American Heart Association to offer 0.3 CEUs for this program
